Where is Moldova, anyway?

Musings on my Peace Corps experience in this small, Eastern European, Republic.
 

Fall has arrived in Moldova

How do I know? Becuase I can no longer keep my window opened past 6pm (too cold), because it gets dark around 8:30, because i eat baked apples every day, because the market is full with fresh delicious produce, because the new group of volutneers is coming in tomorrow, becuase the kids have started school, and because it FEELS like fall. You know, that fall feeling (not hot, not cold-- you never know if you need to bring a jacket when you leave the house, or if the jacket will make you sweat after 5 minutes of wearing it!) I love it.
